    IP stands for Ingress Protection, which refers to the level of protection provided against dust intrusions, accidental contact with dust, and water by mechanical casings and electrical enclosures.

    LED strip lights come in different IP ratings, including IP65, IP67, and IP68.0

    With an
    IP65 rating, the LEDs can be used in an outside setting and are water-resistant, but they are not waterproof and are not suitable to be submerged.

    IP67-rated LED strip lights can be installed externally and are protected against regular water contact. However, IP67 does not offer protection if installed in a permanently submerged location. 2 years, 9 months ago
