What’s it about? We are doing testing and building of home assistance home automation computers. This is our choice in software so we need to make a hardware decision, home assistance sells 2 prebuilt boxes, green and yellow, both with certain characteristics, the green is 99 bucks and the yellow 200. Because we are hardware guys we choose to use the raspberry pi, primarily because it’s not made in china, but truthfully we love the Pi development community
. Today you can get a pi4 8gig for 81 bucks. our build is using the Argon ONE M.2 Aluminum Case for Raspberry Pi 4 with SATA SSD Support, with 500 gb m.2 ssd. This adds $$ to the build but it also allows extended features to our automation computer. The build is on! 2 years, 5 months ago
